Lincoln County has a moderate climate, located on the high plains.  Moderate temperatures and low humidity and lots of sunshine provide an ideal climate for all activities.

Winter storms are usually short and snow melts rapidly.  The mountains along the front range receive significant snows throughout the season, providing a wide opportunity for winter sports.
