As alternative energy demand grows, Lincoln County provides plenty of wind and land area. There is a large potential for wind energy in Lincoln County, and there are projects already under way.

Cedar Point Wind is a project by Renewable Energy Systems (RES) that has portions in Lincoln County.  

Other wind projects are also in motion in other areas of the county.  As the demand for alternative energy increases, Lincoln County will rise to the challenge.
