According to fedstats.gov, Lincoln County had very little crime in 2000. The total crimes reported was 42, none of which included rape or murder. Larceny-theft topped the reports (33), followed by aggravated assault (4), motor vehicle thefts (3), burglary (1), and robbery (1).

These numbers speak for themselves.  If you are looking for a safe place to live and work, you cannot beat Lincoln County.
